This will form part of the dedicated Autumn nights burglary patrols.
Cross border working with neighbouring police forces and information sharing continues including proactive patrols of hotspot areas,
We are aware of the impact of these crimes and strive to be a visible presence, targeting our patrols and gathering intelligence to support our investigations.

Status Update
There has been a marked reduction in reported offences in the location.
The team have successfully obtained a criminal behaviour order against a repeat shop lifter from the town and he has conditions to not enter the borough of Tandridge.
The local team complete regular engagements with the local business community, increasing confidence and partnership working. Following these engagements there has been a marked increase in the reporting of offences.
There are ongoing policing operations in the town, both overt and covert targeting retail crime.
The team continue to target repeat offenders and utilise anti social behaviour legislation when appropriate.
